Project policy

Accessibility Statement

Effective August 15, 2026Policy version 2026-08-15-v3
Important: This is a practical pilot policy, not individualized legal advice or a promise that the operator is immune from claims. Qualified counsel should review it before paid operation or public publication of user-submitted images.

Commitment

FVA aims to make its public, contributor, and reviewer experiences usable by people with disabilities. The project works toward semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard operation, visible focus, labeled controls, meaningful alternative text, sufficient contrast, responsive layouts, reduced-motion support, and error messages that do not rely on color alone.

Known limitations

Camera capture and close visual inspection are inherently image-dependent, and this pilot has not yet completed an independent WCAG audit. Some generated image previews and complex administrator tools may need additional screen-reader and zoom testing. Authentication is provided through an external sign-in flow whose accessibility is outside FVA’s direct control.

Request help

If a barrier prevents participation, use the contact process. Describe the page, device, browser, assistive technology, and the task you were trying to complete. FVA will make a reasonable effort to provide an alternative and correct verified barriers.
